Dalbir Kaur, sister of Indian prisoner Sarabjit Singh facing death row in Pakistan, Friday claimed she received a letter purportedly written by her brother from Lahore [Images] prison saying he never gave any confessional statement to any of the investigating agencies in Pakistan.

Revealing the content of the letter to PTI, she claimed her brother has also requested her to apprise Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf [Images] about his innocence and the fake cases allegedly slapped against him regarding bomb blasts in Lahore in 1990.

"I never gave any confessional statements to any of the investigating agencies of Pakistan with regard to allegations imposed by the Pakistani police. I have been unlawfully framed in fake bomb blasts cases inspite of the facts. I have nothing to do with all the allegations imposed on me by the Pakistan police," she said quoting her brother.

"Here I request you (Dalbir) to come forward to apprise the Pakistan president Pervez Musharraf about my innocence. Pakistan police has slapped fake cases on me in the name of Manjit Singh. Everybody in India knows my real name is Sarabjit Singh, but Pakistan police was not willing to listen to me when I was arrested by them in 1990," Sarabjit allegedly said in the letter.

He also said he had written a number of letters, but due to tight security in the jail he could not send them earlier.

"I have already written number of letters, which are still with me as it is difficult for me to find out the via media to send my letters out of the jail due to the tight security system. Today this letter I am handing over to the unknown wise man and I am sure he would post my letter to India and it would surely reach you," Sarabjit said in the letter.
