The list of 64 Indian prisoners to be released from Pakistani jails has been made available to mediapersons.

The large majority of them belong to Punjab. 10 of them hail from Jalandhar, 9 from Kapurthala, 8 from Hoshiarpur, 5 from Amritsar [Images]; others belong to Fatehgarh Sahib, Ropar, Sangroor and Nava Shehar.

Ten of the persons to be been released belong to Haryana. They hail from Karnal, Kurukshetra and Ambala. One from Jammu and Kashmir [Images].

Most of the prisoners being released are victims of deceit by travel agents. Most of them come from Kot Lakhpat jail, where Sarabjit Singh is awaiting the death sentence. His sister Dalbir Kaur will be visiting the Wagah border to tie rakhis on all those who are released by the Pakistani authorities, despite the fact that Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf [Images] has taken a tough stand on the Sarabjit case.
