Shiv Sena Executive President Udhav Thackeray on Tuesday said 'everything will be okay' with cousin Raj Thackeray.

Raj on Sunday resigned from all party posts, objecting to Udhav's style of functioning.

Udhav said he is waiting for Raj to respond to his appeal for talks.

"Raj is my brother and I am firm on my stance. I am not someone who changes stance every other day," Udhav said after meeting Maharashtra Governor S M Krishna.

Later, at Uralikanchan in Puna district, Udhav said his cousin has only resigned from various party posts and not severed links with the Sena.

"You don't need to worry about him. He has only resigned from different party but not severed his ties with the party," Udhav said while participating in a road roko to protest against the low prices that mills in the area give sugarcane farmers.

"Some people have poisoned his mind. He is my brother and hence he should be with us. We would sort out the issue between us," he said.

Asked if the editorial in Tuesday's issue of Sena mouth organ Saamna was directed against an individual, he said, "The editorial is not against any individual but is aimed at exposing the 'goonda' elements who had damaged executive editor and Sena MP Sanjay Raut's car."
