Omar, Mehbooba to take first Kashmir bus

National Conference chief Omar Abdullah and People's Democratic Party president Mehbooba Mufti are among the eight leaders of mainstream political parties who would travel to Muzaffarabad on the inaugural Indo-Pak bus from Srinagar [Images] on April 7.

Other political personalities who will travel by the first bus are: J&K Deputy Chief Minister Mangat Ram Sharma; Rural Development Minister Peerzada Mohammad Sayeed; PDP leader Rangeel Singh; National Panther's Party chief Bhim Singh; Communist Party of India-Marxist secretary M Y Tarigami and NC leader A R Rather.

The Mufti Mohammad Sayeed government had recommended to the Centre a list of 11 leaders from the state.
