The Mumbai police has registered an offence against actor-filmmaker Pooja Bhatt [Images] over alleged obscene posters of her latest movie Rog released last week, a senior police official said on Thursday.
The social service branch registered the offence and sent a notice to Bhatt to appear for questioning, Deputy Commissioner of Police Sanjay Apranti said.
Offence has also been registered against the makers of Tezaab, he said, adding the film makers will be questioned for splashing the posters all across the city of the movies that have been rated adult.
He said offence was registered on the basis of a complaint lodged by St Xavier College professor Pratibha Nathani.
