The Bahujan Samaj Party has decided to go it alone in the Bihar assembly polls.
The party released its first list of 96 candidates on Tuesday.
BSP national general secretary and Rajya Sabha member Gandhi Azad told media persons in Patna that the party would not have electoral understanding with any party and would contest the 243 seats in Bihar "to defeat the RJD and BJP."
Claiming that Bihar was set to witness a multi-cornered contest, Azad said BSP would reap a rich electoral harvest in the coming polls and would be able to form the next government on its own.
Azad said his party would provide "a clean government and work for making Bihar crime-free" if voted to power.
