Three Jharkhand members of Legislative Assembly were disqualified from the House on Tuesday.
Assembly Speaker Mrigendra Pratap Singh disqualified Lalchand Mahto, Madhu Singh and Ram Chandra Kesri under the anti-defection law after they quit the Janata Dal (United) and joined the Rashtriya Janata Dal, Assembly sources said in Ranchi.
The Speaker had issued showcause notices to them on December 29, the sources said.
