The wreckage of an Afghan airplane, which went missing on Thursday afternoon, has been located near Kabul, agency reports said.
There were at least 100 people aboard the plane.
The Kam Air Boeing 737's wreckage was found to the northeast of the capital, but the security source did not say if there were any survivors.
The plane was on a flight from the western city of Herat to Kabul on Thursday afternoon. It went missing soon after its pilot sought permission to land in Pakistan.
