The Bharatiya Janata Party has not given up its pet issues like 'Common Civil Code, Article 370 and Hindutva and was not apologetic' about them, former party chief M Venkaiah Naidu said on Friday.

"We are committed to the Common Civil Code, Article 370 and building of a magnificent temple at the birthplace of Lord Ram," Naidu said, addressing the silver jubilee party convention in Mumbai, adding that the BJP was 'not apologetic' about it.

Naidu dismissed suggestions that the party had given up these issues, asserting that there was no need for reiterating the same thing again and again. He said no meaning should be attached to the three issues not finding a place in the political resolution.

Naidu asserted that the BJP was firmly against forced conversions and favoured 'family planning by all, including the majority and the minority communities'.
