An Iranian passenger plane with 157 people caught fire just before landing at Tehran airport on Wednesday night killing some 50 people, agencies said.
However, Iran state television, quoting official sources, said there were no deaths and that a few had been injured.
Dubai-based Al Arabiya television earlier quoted Iranian state television as saying that 50 people had been killed in a plane crash at Tehran airport.
