An avid cricket enthusiast, Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf [Images] explained cricketing shots and terms to Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh [Images] and his wife Gursharan Kaur as they watched the first 90 minutes of the sixth and final India-Pakistan one-dayer in New Delhi on Sunday.

Dr Singh and Musharraf sat next to each other in the VVIP box at the Ferozeshah Kotla stadium enjoying the match and having a quiet chat, Media Advisor to the Prime Minister Sanjaya Baru said.

"The president explained certain shots to the prime minister and when Mrs Gursharan Kaur wanted to know what 'LWF' and 'LWS' shown on the TV screen meant, he explained to her that they stood for ''last wicket fell' and 'last wicket score'," he said.

Baru described the overall atmosphere as "warm and cordial."

Later, the two leaders arrived at the Hyderabad House for talks and warmly shook hands before going in.

When asked about the match, Musharraf said: "It was good, exciting."
