Jails Minister Raghevendra Pratap Singh said he has ordered chief warden Ganesh Prasad's suspension for allowing Yadav, a ruling Rashtriya Janata Dal member, to re-enter the jail after being released on bail.

Singh said the government had decided to further tighten security around the jail. Bihar Military Police commandos will now be posted at the main gates.

The court had on Wednesday issued a notice to Yadav seeking an explaination by October 6 why did he re-entered the jail on September 26 in violation of the jail manual.
