| "We are going through all the affidavits on the internet and accordingly will prepare a list of nominees who are facing serious criminal charges, including corruption charges, and ask voters to decide for themselves," Hazare said in Nagpur on Friday.
"If needed, we will file a PIL against such candidates," he said.
Hazare said he is aware of reports that the former chief minister and Shiv Sena leader Narayan Rane has not mentioned his palatial house in Pali Hill in Mumbai in his affidavit. "It is up to the voters to decide whom to vote for," Hazare said, adding, "we will tell them about the status of the cases pending against a candidate."
Hazare said only Congress president Sonia Gandhi and Republican Party of India-Athawale leader Ramdas Athawale had responded to letters from the Samiti, urging them not to nominate corrupt candidates.
