Alert: Masters in Agribusiness Management

The Symbiosis Institute of International Business is launching a two-year, full time, autonomous, residential Masters Programme in Agribusiness Management.
Changing scenarios in global trade and IPR, a booming economy and the vast untapped potential of Indian agriculture have made agribusiness one of today's most challenging fields. This has created a need for professional management in the sector.
The MPABM draws on the very best of global management techniques, providing a strong platform for careers in agribusiness management, for both employment and entrepreneurial opportunities. Vast opportunities exist in Marketing of Agro Products, Agricultural Finance, Agricultural Supply Chain Management, Agro Exports and Commodity Trading.
Master's Programme in Agribusiness Management
(Two-year postgraduate, full time, autonomous course)
Eligibility
A graduate in Agricultural Engineering, BSc Agriculture/or Allied Sciences (Botany, Biotechnology, Dairy Science, Horticulture, Forestry, Fishery, Food Technology, Environmental Sciences) from Universities recognised by ICAR/UGC.
Some seats will be reserved for graduates with family agribusiness or with relevant experience in agribusiness for a minimum of two years.
Selection process
Written entrance test: June 20
GD/Interviews: July 10 and July 11
How to apply
Copies of the prospectus-cum-application form will be available at the Institute's office until June 15 on payment of Rs 1,000 by way of cash/DD payable in Pune in favour of the Symbiosis Institute of International Business.
Forms can also be downloaded from the Institute's Web site www.siib.ac.in. Processing of online applications will begin only on receipt of the fee payable through demand draft, favouring the institute as above, together with full information.
