Minimum qualification
B Text/B Tech / BE (Textile Tech/Textile Chem/Fashion and Apparel Engg) degree from any recognised university with at least 60 per cent marks in the aggregate. Relaxation upto five per cent shall be provided to SC/ST candidates in the qualifying examination only.

Criteria for selection
For GATE qualified candidates: According to merit list of GATE.

For sponsored/self-financing and non-sponsored candidates: By merit, based on B Text or B Tech marks and the candidate's aptitude for research.

The vacant sponsored/non-sponsored seats, if any, will be offered to self-financing candidates.

Scholarship and contingency grant for GATE qualified candidates only
Ten scholarships of Rs 5,000 per month for each student (seven for general category and three for SC/ST category) with a contingency grant of Rs 5,000 per year for each student.

Apply on the prescribed application form, which is available along with the prospectus at the institute's counter for Rs 600 or by sending a bank draft for Rs 650 favouring 'The Technological Institute of Textile and Sciences' payable at Bhiwani.
