Talks between Indian and Pakistani foreign minister will take place in July-August, Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf said on Wednesday.
Musharraf, after meeting clerics in Islamabad, also said the minister-level talks will be preceded by secretary level talks to be held in 'May-June this year after the elections in India'.
He said the Kashmir issue would be taken up during the talks. Ruling out any 'sell out' on Kashmir, Musharraf said talks have to involve Kashmiris to take the process of peace forward and resolve issues peacefully.
Musharraf's announcement came even as the Foreign Secretary Shashank met his Pakistani counterpart to wind up three days of official level talks to finalise the agenda, modalities and timeframe for the composite dialogue.
