Naidu, family offer prayers at Tirupati

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, who survived an assassination attempt by Naxalites on October 1 while on his way to Tirumala from Tirupati, offered prayers at the famous hill shrine on Thursday.

He was accompanied by his wife N Bhuvaneswari and mother N Ammanamma.
 
Employment Generation Minister B Gopalakrishna Reddy and Tirupati MLA Chadalavada Krishamurthy, who too were injured in the attack, were also there.

On his way to the shrine, Naidu offered prayers at the Lord Ganesha temple on the second ghat road, close site where he attacked.

Naidu and his family will participate in a pre-dawn 'abhishekam' on Friday.
