Symbiosis Centre for Management and Human Resource Development invites applications for its two-year full time autonomous Post Graduate Diploma in Management, 2004-06. 

Specializations offered:

Pune campus: Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management, IT and Systems Management. 

Number of seats: Open: 90; Industry sponsored: 7; Children of NRIs: 3. 

Nashik campus: Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management, Manufacturing and Operations Management, Family Business Management.

Number of seats: Open: 100; Industry sponsored: 7; Children of NRIs: 3.

Eligibility: Bachelor's degree in the following disciplines with minimum 50% marks aggregate: 

IT and Management Systems: Computer Science and Engineering graduates only. 

Manufacturing and Operations Management: Engineering and Pharmacy graduates only. 

Family Business Management: Graduates in any discipline sponsored by business families for managing own business, only.

Other specializations: Any discipline. Bachelor's degree must be from universities recognized by Association of Indian Universities. 

Students in final year of graduation also can apply subject to fulfilling eligibility by August 2004. 

Admission Procedure: 

A written test will be conducted at Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Faridabad, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Jamshedpur, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Nashik, New Delhi, Noida, Patna, Pune and Vijayawada. 

Short-listed candidates will be invited for group testing/psychological evaluation/personal discussion at New Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata or Pune. 

How to Apply:

1. Log on to www.scmhrd.edu and register for the UTI Bank pay-in challan.

2. Go to the nearest UTI Bank and pay cash Rs 1,000 towards the non-refundable prospectus, application and test-processing fee.

3. Post the institute copy of the cash receipted challan along with 4 passport size latest colour photographs with the challan number written on the reverse of each photograph and on the envelope, to SCMHRD, Pune.

4. Upon receipt of the challan and photographs, the prospectus, application form and admit card will be posted to the address on the bank challan.

Important Dates:

Last date for paying cash at UTI Bank branches for prospectus and application form: November 5,2003.

Last date for dispatching prospectus, application form and admit card: November 10, 2003. 

Last date for receiving back the completed institute admission application form: November 15, 2003.

Last date for queries on non-receipt of prospectus, application form and admit card: November 20, 2003.

Date of examination: December 7, 2003.
