Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on Sunday visited Bhandari, who has been admitted in a special ward. Vajpayee spoke to the family members of the NSG commando, who is in coma.

Earlier, terming reports about AIIMS refusing to admit the commando as 'unfounded', Health and Family Welfare Minister Sushma Swaraj said that the commando has been given a special room with all facilities in the hospital.

She said when the NSG director general came with the request he was told that a special room would be provided in 15 days and he was satisfied.

The minister hoped the commando would come out of the coma.

A special room has been arranged for the commando at AIIMS, which is equipped with ultra-modern facilities and he is under constant observation by doctors from the neurology and emergency departments, hospital sources said.
