RSS to assist in BJP's 2004 poll campaign

The Bharatiya Janata Party on Monday said Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh activists will help in its campaign for the 2004 general elections.
Party general secretary Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said party chief M Venkaiah Naidu has constituted a five-member committee comprising Bal Apte, Shiv Raj Singh Chauhan, Dharmendra Pradhan, Om Prakash Dhankad and L Ganeshan to chalk out the details with the RSS.
The committee will submit its report at the central office-bearers meeting in Hyderabad on May 25, Naqvi said. Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and his deputy Lal Kishenchand Advani will attend the meetings at Jaipur and Hyderabad.
