President A P J Abdul Kalam will discuss his Vision 2020 with top industry honchos during a conclave being organised in Kerala in connection with the 50^th birthday celebrations of renowned spiritual leader Mata Amritanandamayi in September.

The conclave, which top business captains of Indian origin from the United States, Europe, Japan and Singapore will attend, will be the high point of the various programmes during the September 24-27 celebrations in Kochi.

Sycamore Systems founder Gururaj Deshpande, venture capitalist Kanwal Reiki, Exodus Communications' B V Jagdish, eBay Chief Financial Officer Rajeev Dutta, Siemens Medicals' Ajit Singh, Hotmail founder Sabeer Bhatia, Cisco's Prem Jain, Hewlett Packard's Yomesh Joshi and Intel's Sreeram Vishwanathan will be some of those who will come.

Among those from India will be Mukesh Ambani (Reliance), Sunil Mittal (Bharti), K Krishnakumar (Tata) and S D Shibulal (Infosys).

"The CEO meet will be a unique event. It will be for the first time that the captains of Indian industry and prominent CEOs of Indian origin from abroad will sit together with Amma to discuss President Kalam's Vision 2020," Swami Amritaswarupananda, vice- chairman of the Mata Amritanandamayi Mutt, told rediff.com

He said it would be 'much more than a brainstorming session'.

"The meet will adopt a roadmap to Vision 2020, envisioned by the President.

"The CEO meet will discuss what we can all contribute to nation-building and India's development by 2020. The focus of the meet will be how to train and retain brains in the country," he said.

Twenty-five CEOs from abroad and 15 from India have confirmed their participation, according to him.

The spiritual endorsement to the conclave will come in the form of a resolution that the organisers said would have a definite bearing on India's future planning.

"The resolution will be prepared with lots of inputs from Mata Amritanandamayi herself," Amritaswarupananda disclosed.

He said during the conclave, Kalam would explain to the CEOs his vision to transform India into a developed nation by 2020.

A ceremony honouring water gathered from 50 rivers from around the world, a mass marriage and a gathering of 100,000 young men and women from around the globe will be the other major attractions of the celebrations.

International cultural programmes, highlighting the traditional art forms of all nations, and daily yoga and meditation courses will be conducted.

The unifying theme of these programmes will be: 'Changing the Individual and the World Through Spiritual Love and Compassion'.
