Union Railway Minister Nitish Kumar on Wednesday night indicated that he might take back his resignation, Samata Party MP Prabhunath Singh said.

It was Singh's criticism of Kumar at the party's national council meeting on Monday that provoked the latter to submit his resignation.

After a two-hour meeting with Kumar, Singh said he would withdraw his comments if that was the wish of everyone.

"There was a meeting of minds. Whatever differences we had have been sorted out. The crisis has been resolved," Singh told reporters.
