Want to head the Indo-US S&T Forum?

Executive Director for Indo-US Science and Technology Forum
The Indo-US Science and Technology Forum (http://www.indousstf.org) is seeking applications from suitable candidates for the appointment of an Executive Director for the Forum. The appointment will be contractual for a term of three years with the possibility of extension.
The Indo-US S&T Forum is an autonomous, non-profit scientific institution under the Indian Societies Act, established under a bilateral agreement between the Governments of India and the United States for promoting and facilitating the interaction among government, academia and industry in programs of common concern and mutual benefit in science & technology.
The Executive Director is responsible for developing and implementing the work program, which includes making policy, staffing, academic programs and budgetary recommendations to the governing body. S/he will be the representative of the Forum in interactions with institutions in India and the United States and other national and international organizations. The Forum operating budget for FY2003 was Rs 6.85 crores ($1.4 million)
Applicants should possess a broad scientific and/or industrial background with a strong interest in international collaborative efforts in science and technology, particularly between India and the United States. This position requires a senior professional possessing distinct managerial expertise including financial oversight, control and fund-raising.
The Executive Director will be based in the Forum office at New Delhi.

Diploma in Event Management
SNDT Women's University, Mumbai, in association with the International Institute of Event Management, has launched a one-year part-time Diploma in Event Management Course for undergraduates, graduates, working and non-working people.
Minimum Qualification: XIIth or equivalent passed and above.
