Police file charge sheet against
R K Sharma

The Delhi police on Friday filed charge sheet against IPS officer Ravi Kant Sharma, key accused in the Shivani Bhatnagar murder case.

Besides Sharma, police chargesheeted co-accused Satya Prakash, Sri Bhagwan Sharma, Pradeep Sharma, Ved Prakash Sharma, and Ved alias Kalu in connection with the murder of Shivani, who was a journalist with the Indian Express.

All the accused were charged under sections 302 (murder), 120 (b) (conspiracy), 201 (causing disappearance of evidence), 403 and 404 (dishonest misappropriation of property) of the Indian Penal Code.

Ved Prakash Sharma and Ved were also charged under Section 411 (dishonestly receiving stolen property).
