Violence in Baroda, police open fire at mob, curfew imposed

Police fired on a mob, which indulged in arson in areas coming under the Panigate police station in Baroda on Wednesday night prompting imposition of curfew, police sources said.

One person was injured in police firing, they said.

Vigil in other sensitive areas of the city has been stepped up following the incident, the sources said.
