Ekushey Television said one of the bodies has been identified as that of a crew member of the ferry MV Subaha, which sank in the Baleshwar river in Pirojpur district.
It said those missing were nine members of the crew and 90 passengers.
The ferry was lying nearly 150 feet below the surface and salvage efforts appeared difficult, it added.
The report, however, said official sources put the number of those missing at between 60 and 70.
Pirojpur district officials told the BSS news agency that 70 people were feared drowned when the Khulna-bound launch capsized near Kachubaria terminal.
District police said the ferry was carrying 100 people when it went down.
State-owned Bangladesh Betar (radio) said the ferry had 75 people on board. It said 25 were rescued while 50 were missing.
An earlier report said the vessel was carrying 150 people and 25-30 people swam to safety or were rescued while the rest were missing.
Meanwhile, ETV said six others died when four trawlers capsized in a storm near the spot where the MV Subaha sank.
The latest ferry capsize has occurred three weeks after the May three accident in which the MV Salahuddin-2 sank in the Meghna river in central Bangladesh killing nearly 400 persons.
