Three hurt in police
firing in Vejalpur

Three persons were injured when police fired several rounds and burst teargas shells to disperse a mob trying to attack Muslim localities in curfew-bound Vejalpur area on Tuesday night.

Situation in other riot-hit areas in Ahmedabad was reported to be normal.

A beheaded body was found in a gunny bag near a temple in Law Garden area which falls under the Navrangpura police station, police said.
