Madurai dy mayor surrenders

MISA Pandian, Deputy Mayor of the Madurai Corporation, wanted in connection with a murder case, surrendered before a judicial magistrate in Chengalpattu near Madras on Wednesday morning.

According to the police, the deputy mayor surrendered before the judicial magistrate II, Chengalpattu.

Pandian was wanted in connection with the murder of a finance firm proprietor in Madurai.

V Selvam, arrested by police, had stated that he had committed the murder at the behest of the deputy mayor.
