Laden wants to leave Afghanistan: Daily

International terrorist Osama bin Laden wants to leave Afghanistan and has sought Taleban's supreme leader Mullah Omar's permission to shift his operational headquarter somewhere else, The News reported Tuesday.

The request was made a few days ago after which Mullah Omar began consultations with his Cabinet to reach a consensus on whether to allow Laden to migrate, the daily said.

Mullah Omar had earlier requested Laden to continue his stay in Afghanistan.

The Taleban leader believes Laden's departure could demoralise Afghans and Jehadi (holy war) forces for whom his presence is a source of inspiration.

Laden, on the other hand, believes his presence in Afghanistan would multiply Afghanistan's miseries.

Laden also believes that this is just the right time for him to enter the anti-Israel war.

He believes his migration would enhance his operational capabilities and enable him to consolidate his forces against the US and its allies, The News said.

Yemen is being talked about as Laden's next station.

Laden recently married into an influential Yemeni Syed family. Moreover, his family has acquired a few islands near Yemen.
