Imran Khan in Bhubaneswar
Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief K S Sudershan has urged the Vajpayee government to cut off essential supplies, including water, to Bangladesh, if atrocities against Hindus don't stop in that country.
Sudershan also criticised Vajpayee for not taking tough measures against Bangladesh.
"The central government should ensure that essential supplies and water supply from Farakka river to Bangladesh be cut off, if the Khaleda Zia government failed to protect the minority Hindus there," Sudershan said.
Sudershan also urged the Vajpayee government to take up the issue at the United Nations for putting pressure on Bangladesh government.
Sudershan was speaking at a function before attending three-day Amrit Mahotsav of RSS in Puri.
Sudershan also ridiculed the Centre's decision to deport Bangladeshi refugees from the country, adding the government should allow their permanent settlement.
