PM may be allowed visitors from Saturday

The medical bulletin released by New York based surgeon Dr Chitranjan S Ranawat and Chief Physician Breach Candy Hospital Dr Farokh Udwadia stated the prime minister was stable. His vital signs were good and he was eating meals normally.

The patient could stand and took several steps with the help of a physiotherapist and walker.

Union Parliamentary Affairs Pramod Mahajan added that no visitors are being allowed. "The PM only took one telephone call from Sushma Swaraj as she is in Mumbai currently," said Mahajan.

The Union Minister further stated that hopefully one or two visitors would be allowed from Saturday or Sunday.

Meanwhile, the city BJP vice president Mangal Prabhat Lodha has set up an e-mail account, ataljigetwellsoon@yahoo.com, to receive get well wishes for the prime minister.
