The truth that killed Vijay Ekka
This reporter seems to be reporting on only the negative side of certain Hindus. Why don't these secular reporters write about the ill-treatment of the Reangs in Mizoram/Manipur and the atrocious anti-national
activities of Tripura's church?

In many of your articles, I have noticed that you have been accusing the VHP of too many things. I have had firsthand experience of how these Christian missionaries work since I did my 10+2 in a Christian missionary college. Our principal was a drunkard and a smoker besides having a number of other vices. And I believe that Brother George Kuzhikandam was no better.
It is high time you started revealing the truth instead of just featuring such articles with senseless headings like: `The third part of a series on the attacks on Christians in the Hindi heartland' et al.

India is a respected and advanced country. The recent attacks on churches and Christian missionaries does not speak well for such a nation. These attacks are obviously politically motivated.

I just want to tell everyone not to be unduly worried over these issues. Jesus and his disciples have had to face struggles throughout their lives.
But please don't try to convert people. Always lead by example rather than by preaching.

It is not right on the part of newspapers and tabloids to blame the majority or any functionaries of the majority community for the attacks on Christians. After reading such useless articles we feel that the media is blowing the issue out of proportion just so as to get some political gains. You people are distorting the image of the country when India is opening up and looking at a brighter future.
We are not going to be swayed by your negative reporting of events. We respect the Christian community up to a limit. It is obvious that there is a political minority group which is responsible for such attacks.

I am really surprised at the shoddy quality of articles that are allowed to be posted on Rediff. This article sucks and it is nothing but an effort to vent the frustrations of an uninformed and culturally isolated author. I request such people not be allowed to post any further articles with such fascist overtones on your site.

It seems to have become a fashion these days to please the minorities but by now you must have realised that nobody really takes such reports seriously. They lack credibility . Every atrocity against a minority community is being blamed on the RSS. This is a dangerous game
being played by the media. You probably do not realise the extent to which such reports can vitiate the atmosphere.

Journalism in India has become a tool in the hands of pseudo secularists to blame a religion like Hinduism

Can you please clarify the following points?
Who is this article aimed at? The international English-reading group?
The circumstances under which the conversions took place have not been mentioned.
I wish you would put in some serious effort to find out why these conversions took place. Were those involved exploited and then converted? Are these conversions good for the existing social fabric where both believers and non-believers can live together in harmony?
Don't you think that such conversions with a commercial angle to them would have a very negative influence on society?
Perhaps your articles should be more balanced.

Such support for Christians on the part of Rediff must stop in the interests of the larger Hindu community. Why are you people not investigating into the negative influence Christians have on society?

What does Chindu Sreedharan hope to achieve by wrongly creating an image of a hapless Christian minority being brutally persecuted by a bigoted Hindu majority?
A thank you note from the Vatican?
An invitation for breakfast at 10 Janpath?
International applause?
The Pulitzer prize?
There are many people in this country who believe that the easiest way to put on an air of objectivity is to take sides on behalf of those who do not share your identity. If you are a Hindu and aspire to be an "objective journalist," all you have to do to prove your credentials is to portray Hindus in a negative light, is it?
