2 ministers quit Haryana govtThe beleaguered Bansi Lal government suffered a jolt with two ministers of state resigning from the Haryana ministry last night. Minister of State for Agricultural Education Jaswant Singh Bawal and Minister of State for Fisheries Azad Mohammad faxed their resignation letters directly to Governor Mahabir Prasad late last night. Raj Bhawan sources have so far neither confirmed nor denied the resignation letters. The ministers were not available for confirmation. The ministers were among dissident Haryana Vikas Party legislators who had made attempts to topple the Bansi Lal government before their recent induction into the council of ministers. UNI
