Australia condemns missionary's killingThe Australian government today strongly condemned the brutal killing of missionary Graham Stains and his two sons at Manoharpur village in Orissa on Saturday and urged the Indian government to take severe action against the culprits. In a statement, Australian Foreign Affairs Minister Alexander Downer said Staines devoted his life in serving others and it was ''unconscionable that he and his two sons should have been killed in this horrific way''. He said that the Australian government expected those responsible for the deaths of Staines and his two sons would be brought to justice promptly in accordance with the Indian judicial processes. He also asked the Australian high commission to render all possible help to Staines' family. Australian High Commissioner Rob Laurie also expressed serious concern over the incident. UNI
