300 Sena 'commandos' in Delhi to prevent TestA posse of 300 trained "commandos" of the Shiv Sena will be despatched to the venue of the first cricket Test between India and Pakistan beginning January 28, Uttar Pradesh Shiv Sena general secretary S Poonam Singh said today. In a statement in Kanpur, Singh said the commandos, trained in the Chambal valley, have already been sent to Delhi and if required they will go to Madras if the first Test is to be staged there. He said the central government should clarify what message it wants to convey by allowing cricket matches between India and Pakistan. After assuming power at the Centre, the Bharatiya Janata Party had forgotten Pakistan's hand in fomenting trouble in Kashmir, he charged. Observing that the controversy over the Test series would not cloud the Sena's relationship with the BJP, he, however, warned that his men would not remain mute spectators and the consequences of allowing the Test matches would be "grave".
