Cool nights in the KonkanNight temperatures were below normal in some parts of the north Gujarat region, south Konkan, Goa and Rayalaseema. They were appreciably to markedly above normal in Meghalaya, West Bengal, Sikkim, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan, and Telangana as well as in parts of west Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab and Marathwada. They were above normal in Assam, east Uttar Pradesh, Vidarbha and some parts of Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, the south Gujarat region, and south coastal Andhra Pradesh. They were normal in the rest of the country outside Arunchal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, and coastal Karnataka from where data were sparse. Mainly dry weather prevailed over the country in the last 24 hours. Rain or snow is likely to occur at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir. Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at isolated places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Lakshadweep. Mainly dry weather will prevail over the rest of the country.
