AIADMK steps up attack on DMKStepping up its attack on the Dravida Munnetra Kazagham government in Tamil Nadu, the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazagham has accused the M Karunanidhi government of indulging in ''covering up its misdeeds and to demolish" the AIADMK through non-political means. In a joint statement in Madras, AIADMK deputy general secretary M Chinnasamy, Rajya Sabha AIADMK group leader R Margabandu, party advocates P Thamil Selvan and A Chandrasekar alleged that Chief Minister Karunanidhi had been in direct touch with certain individuals who had illegally been entrusted with the specific task of fighting the AIADMK through non-political means within a timeframe. Investigation into the contacts and telephone records of these individuals and their associates would prove their nexus with the DMK's senior functionaries, they claimed. Those who sought to use State power to bully and coerce opponents and to force false testimony against the opponents should be exposed and punished, they added. UNI
