Starring Big B [Images], the film also features Aishwarya Rai [Images] in an item song. The story, however, revolves around two other B's: Bunty (Abhishek Bachchan [Images]) and Babli (Rani Mukerji [Images]). This desi Bonnie and Clyde go about life conning all and sundry.

Gulzar's writing and Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy's effervescent beats join forces to create the rocking title track. If the ethnicity of Bunty aur Babli is too hard for the urban wannabe to figure out, there is an English version called B n B.

If you thought Alisha Chinai was limited to oozing oomph in pop numbers, be prepared to be pleasantly surprised with Kajra re, another showstopper in this saucy soundtrack. This part-qawwaali, part-western, flashy song, sung 1960s style, is a feast for admirers of fiery item numbers.
On the whole, the music of Bunty Aur Babli, with its over the top, uninhibited, rustic and teasing spices, makes for one helluva musical masala.
