Legendary film maker Prithviraj Kapoor's genes are surfing high in Dubai where one of his grandsons is poised to embark on his own filmmaking career.
Adityaraj Kapoor, son of Shammi Kapoor -- hopes to attract Omar Sharif to act in what he describes the first Arabic version of Lawrence Of Arabia. "I have sent a message to Omar Sharif and am waiting to hear his price," says Aditya, adding that he learnt the art of filmmaking at the feet of his grandfather, his father and his illustrious uncles.

A businessman for most of his professional life, 47-year-old Aditya has decided that films are, after all, in his blood.Last week in Dubai, as he met up with his cousin Randhir, niece Kareena and other leading Bollywood personalities
at the glittering Zee Cine Awards, Aditya revealed he has scripted the plot for a forthcoming film based on the love story of an American boy and an Arab girl.
"Love blooms in the desert as the young American meets the daughter of Arabia," adds Aditya before clamming up about his East-West masterpiece.
Brought to Dubai as a project manager to set up amusement parks, he has now been spending time explaining to the oil-rich UAE authorities that what they really want is their own indigenous film industry, and he is the man to help them set it up.
Dubai, UAE's largest city, would also make an ideal overseas hub for the billion-dollar-plus Bollywood film industry which is only two hours away by plane. "Here in Dubai is where you can expect the next Hollywood to take shape," claims an enthusiastic Aditya. "There are no labour laws, no income tax. Dubai has also brought me back to my roots."
If all goes according to plan, filming should start early this summer before being completed by the end of the year. Whatever happens, Aditya knows the rest of the Kapoor khandaan will be proud of him.
