To be fair to Sssshhh..., there are a lot of gripping moments, gory murders and enough suspense to keep you glued to your seat through this three-hour tale.
All this, despite the film's not-too-impressive cast comprising Tanishaa (Kajol's younger sister), Dino Morea, Karan Nath and veejay Gaurav.
The movie starts with the horrifying double murders of Simone Singh (Tanisha's elder sister) and her friend.
What follows is an exhibition of murders and attempted murders that provide the necessary fuel to sustain interest and build up to the grand finale.

There are numerous flaws, like the excessively numerous tussles between the two lead guys trying to woo the heroine amidst the innumerable murders happening around them.
Of the cast, Tanishaa is disappointing. She has a long way to go before she can count herself in her sister's league. Dino Morea and Karan Nath have an okayish screen presence but none possess a knockout punch. Gaurav with his funny antics is likeable and evokes bouts of laughter. The rest of the cast are not worth a mention.
Like all movies in this genre, all that matters is the unfolding of suspense. The identity of the serial killer takes everyone by surprise.
