None of the three -- Sunny Deol, John Abraham and Sohail Khan -- likes to dance. But choreographer-turned-director Ahmed Khan has decided to have two item numbers in his forthcoming film tentatively titled Lakeer in which he wants his male leads to shake a leg.
The first number will be rendered by Daler Mehndi and the second by pop group Viva.
Kareena on the move
Babita has not yet seen younger daughter Bebo's (Kareena Kapoor) performance in Sooraj Barjatya's Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon. She missed the special screening of the film because elder daughter Lolo (Karisma Kapoor) was down with the mumps last week.
Kareena is on a busy schedule, living out of her suitcase since the last one month. First, it was a show in Antwerp, Belgium. Then came the fifteen-day schedule for Boney Kapoor's Bewafaa - The Unfaithful (Anil Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Sushmita Sen) directed by Dharamesh Darshan. Now, she is in Chennai to shoot for Mani Ratnam's film.
Farooque in Anant's film
Anant Mahadevan will cast Farooque Shaikh as the protagonist in his directorial venture Friends For Life.
He will also direct another film, Page 3 -- A Love Story. Both films will take off soon.
Anant is now busy with three television serials -- Sambhav Asambhav, Devi (now on air) and XYZ (in the pipeline).
Raj Babbar signed
Raj Babbar has been signed by producer Surjit S Pandher (Indian Babu) to play a pivotal part in Himalaya Motion Pictures' The Killer -- Ek Qatil directed by newcomer Darshan Bagga.
The rest of the cast is still to be finalised.
Ishita Arun owes it to A K Hangal
Octogenarian A K Hangal recommended B4U veejay Ishita Arun to new producer-director Vijay Kumar for his film Kahan Ho Tum. A K Hangal stays in the same apartment complex as singer Ila Arun, Ishita's mother.
The film also Samir Soni, Sharman Joshi and Sonu Sood as friends. The three boys set out on a trek in the North Indian jungles, where they spot and playfully chase a beautiful tribal girl Shweta Menon.
The trio return to their respective homes and are unaware that they are now prime suspects in the murder of the same tribal girl.
Hangal plays Soni's grandfather. Ishita plays a filmmaker who comes to India to make a documentary on the jogin system still prevalent in the northwestern parts of the country.
