Want to be the next Hrithik Roshan?Priyanka Bhattacharya Think you have it in you to become the next superstar? Well, then, here is your chance. Kaun is the new pursuit for a new star. Under the aegis of indiatimes.com with MTV and Coca-Cola, who claim, "Who knows, you may become the next Hrithik Roshan." So far, MTV has launched veejay hunts, singer hunts, even beauty queen hunts. Now MTV is on the lookout for 11 new faces to star in the forthcoming Tips film, Ishq Vishq Pyaar Vyaar. It will also mark the directorial debut of Ken Ghosh (the music video director of Alisha Chinai's Made in India fame). The film, a teenage romantic musical comedy, will display budding talent from all over the country and give them silver screen space. "I think of MTV as a dream factory. This venture will turn the dreams of millions of young Indians to reality," declares Alex Kuruvilla, managing director of MTV India. A formal launch of this hunt was held at the Superdrome, Bombay. The evening was kickstarted by MTV VJ Raageshwari. Also present at the launch were Kumar Taurani of Tips, Rajesh Sawhney of indiatimes.com and P Krishnamurthy of Coke. Debutant director Ken Ghosh adds, "Instead of limiting our search to Bombay or the metros, we are on the lookout for fresh new talent from all over India." Fitness guru Mickey Mehta, ace photographer Daboo Ratnani, choreographer Ganesh Hegde and theatre person Satyadev Dubey will help Ghosh in his endeavour.
