Indian Airlines unveils 'hot seat' scheme

BS Regional Bureau in Ahmedabad | March 18, 2004 11:01 IST

Indian Airlines has launched a summer scheme, called `Hot seat', which will offer four free tickets to a lucky winner every day. The offer will be valid for 62 days, from March 19 to May 19, 2004.

Passengers travelling on domestic and international flights of Indian Airlines of Alliance Air will qualify for the daily lucky draw.

A computerised draw will pick one seat number of any flight and the winner will be awarded four return tickets (two coupons each), every day during the 62 days.

The result of the draw will be announced every evening from 5 pm onwards and will be displayed at all airports, booking offices and on the Indian Airlines Web site.

The draw for Saturdays and Sundays will be held on Mondays, and the winners will be announced the same evening, an IA statement said.

To claim the award ticket, the winner must submit to the reservations manager of the nearest Indian Airlines office his original boarding card, a photocopy of the ticket jacket and an application, stating his name, address, names in which each of the award ticket is required to be issued and the sector for each award ticket.

The award ticket will be valid for three months from the date of issue and will be in the same class as the passenger has travelled originally, the release said.
