Tata Indicom cuts ILD tariffs by 50%

Tata Indicom on Wednesday cut by up to 50 per cent the tariffs for calls originating from New Delhi and Mumbai to key destinations across the globe, including the United States, Europe and the Far East.

As per the new tariff, customers can call destinations in the US, Canada and Europe at Rs 9.60 per minute as against Rs 14.40 at present, a company release said.

The tariff cut has also been extended to select destinations in the Far East that include Asean countries which can now be accessed at Rs 12 per minute, the release said, adding the corresponding pulse rates for the respective two country categories are 7.5 seconds and 6 seconds respectively.

The new tariffs, which apply to all Tata Indicom fixed wireline and fixed wireless customers in the two metros under the promotional offer, would be valid till January 26, 2004, it said.
