November 26, 2003 18:17 IST

Information technology company Hinduja TMT has bagged an IT services contract of a large automobile assembling and manufacturing company in West Asia.

The ERP project in the initial phase will generate a revenue of Rs 10 crore (Rs 100 million) over the next 18 months, a company press release said in Mumbai on Wednesday.

The project would cover modules relating to material management, production, planning, finance and marketing and would be implemented using a multi-level architecture, it said.

The project would make use of the best practices that the company has developed over the years to enhance the information management of various manufacturing processes.

"With the required robust domain expertise in the manufacturing segment and the recent implementation of an analogous project for Ashok Leyland, we are confident of delivering this prestigious project well in time," the company's IT division president and CEO, R Mohan, was quoted as saying.
