Baggy jeans are definitely out and have been ably replaced by slim trousers that rest neatly on the hips.

Go clubbing in a hip blue or deep brown pair, to work in a black or beige and greys and navy blue are good for any occassion.

Just make sure they don't fit too tight around the hips and thighs, and that they are complemented by a thin, sleek belt.

And if you think this doesn't apply to jeans -- think again! Go down to your local denim shop and pick up a pair of narrow fit jeans if you want to stay 'with it'!
