What: Banaras Hindu University, Institute of Medical Sciences in Varanasi provides admission notice for MD/MS programmes in 2008.

 

Details:

~ MD/MS courses in the subjects: Anatomy (G :1), Anesthesiology (G :1, SC :1), Biochemistry (G :1), Community medicine (PSM) (G :1), Forensic Medicine (G :1), ENT (ST :1), General medicine (G :1) , General surgery (G :1), Microbiology (SC :1), Pathology (G :1, SC :1), Radiotherapy (G :1), Pharmacology (G :1) and Physiology (G :1), Psychiatry (G :1)

~ The subjects declared above are provisional and may vary without assigning any reason.

 

~ G = General, SC = Schedule Caste, ST = Schedule Tribe

 

Eligibility:


~ MBBS (MCI recognised) with one year rotating internship completed by
30-4-2008.


~ Those who have passed MD/MS (Postgraduates) are not eligible.

 

Application procedure:

 

~ Application form can be either downloaded from BHU website free of cost (http://www.bhu.ac.in/  or can be obtained from the Office of the Director, Institute of Medical Sciences, B.H.U. Varanasi- 221005 from November 26, 2007 by sending a self addressed unstamped envelope (24 X 30 cm) and a DD of Rs 100.00 in favor of "Director, IMS, BHU" payable at Varanasi (by post till December 19, 2007 and in person till December 29, 2007).

 

~ Envelope for the form-request should be marked as "MD/MS FORM-REQUEST". Duly completed application form (all the four pages) including 3 photographs and the application fee must reach the office of the undersigned on or before December 29, 2007.
