What: Comet Media Foundation is organising a film appreciation series introducing the main currents in world cinema, in Mumbai.

~ Where: Comet Media Foundation, Topiwala Lane School, Lamington Road, Mumbai

~ Admission is open to all; age and qualifications no bar.

~ You must have a passion for cinema and the cultures of the world.

~ Jethu Mundul, film maker and film editor, and Chandita Mukherjee, film maker and director, Comet Media Foundation, will conduct the workshop.

~ Fee: Rs 4,500

About Jethu Mundul

~ He has edited a large number of documentaries and feature films, the many of which have been the first film of the director.

~ He has taught film editing at the FTII, Pune.

~ He is associated with Satish Bahadur, (formerly professor at FTII) in preparing and conducting courses of film appreciation.

About Chandita Mukherjee

~ Trained at the Film and Television Institute of India, she is a filmmaker and science communicator, winning numerous awards including the Prix Jules Verne, the European Union award for science communication.

~ She has taught at several institutes of communication such as the National Institute of Design, Xavier Institute of Communications, FTII and the Industrial Design Centre of IIT Mumbai.
