What: Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode invites applications for a its doctoral programme, Fellow Programme in Management.

Programme details

~ The length of the programme is normally four years, but could be completed between three and four years. 

~ It offers specialisation in four areas:

• Information Technology & Systems
• Marketing Management
• Quantitative Methods & Operations Management
• Strategic Management

Are you eligible?

You must one of the following qualifications with the respective percentage:

~ Post-graduate degree or equivalent in any discipline (includes MA, MSc, M Com, MBA, MCA, M Tech etc) with at least 55 per cent marks or equivalent CGPA.

~ CA, ICWA or CS with at least 50 per cent marks.

~ MBBS, LLB etc with at least 55 per cent marks or equivalent CGPA.

~ Engineering degrees like B Tech and BE, with at least 60 per cent marks or equivalent CGPA.

~ You may also apply if you are appearing for your final exams, but your final selection will be subject to successful completion of the requirement.

Selection process

~ It will be based on your profile and test scores in CAT, GMAT, GRE (general/advanced), UGC/CSIR/ICAR JRF or GATE.  

~ You will also have to appear for a Personal Interview at IIM, Kozhikode campus.

~ If called for the interview, you will be reimbursed travel cost from your place of residence to IIM-K and back, upto IIIAC train fare by the shortest route.

Fellowships

You can avail of a fellowship covering academic and living expenses during the tenure of the programme (four years). Rs 12,000 per month will be given, as common fellowship.

Top performers will get an additional fellowship to the tune of Rs 6,000 per month from the second year.

In addition, contingency grants to meet expenses related to data collection, purchase of equipments, books, etc will be given. You will be given limited support for attending national and international conferences as well as for exchange visits to partner institutions.
