What: The ICCR has instituted short-term library fellowships in the following:
~ Institutions established by Maulana Azad: A critical study
~ Maulana Azad's literary works and their message
Fellowship amount: Rs 30,000
Duration: Three months
Eligibility
Post-graduate and doctoral students enrolled in Indian educational institutions, civil servants and other interested research scholars/ candidates.
Age: 35 years as on December 14, 2007.
Last date
The deadline for receiving applications is December 28, 2007.
Details
The scholars will be required to base the project on resources of the Council's library. At the end of the term they are expected to bring out a monograph in any Indian language including English, or in Arabic and Persian.
Interested candidates should send a research proposal for the fellowship not exceeding 1,000 words on one of the above topic to DDG (P), ICCR, Azad Bhawan, IP Estate, New Delhi-110002.
The application should also include the following information:
1. Name; 2. Address; 3. Date of birth; 4. Academic qualifications with certificate; 5. Area of specialisation and list of publications (if any); 6. Name and address of two references
